The Khelifa lab is a multidisciplinary research group that is interested in the effect of multiple stressors on community and biodiversity conservation. Our research aims to better understand the complex interactions between organism and their environment, how ecosystem and organisms respond to environmental change and develop effective strategies to conserve our biodiversity

Beyond research, our lab is interested in promoting science communication and public engagements. We believe in the importance of integrating the public into our research and share our findings with a wider audience using simple and innovative ways. Additionally, we recognize the implicit biases imposed for some marginalized groups and we actively advocate for justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our research and work environment.

We are committed to respecting the sovereignty and traditional knowledge of Indigenous peoples and strive to build meaningful and collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities. As we conduct our research, we aim to incorporate Indigenous perspectives and knowledge systems, recognizing the critical role that Indigenous peoples play in environmental stewardship and biodiversity conservation.
